Bring the following 4 ingredients to a boil:
1/2 cup crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick margarine
1 cup water
Cool slightly and add:
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups sugar

Directions:

Add the two mixtures together and mix well. Bake in a 11x16 inch pan 350 for 30 minutes.
Icing
4 tbsp. cocoa
5 tbsp. milk
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Bring to a boil and add 3/4 box powdered sugar. Put on cool cake.
