2 lbs. ground beef
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c whole milk or 1/2 & 1/2
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
2 c. whole milk or 1/2 & 1/2
1 c. beef broth
1/4 tsp pepper
dash of paprika & parsley

Mix all (accept gravy ingredients) together with ground beef. Form into balls and brown and until cooked through (or bake).
Gravy: melt butter and whisk in flour, slowly add remaining engredients while stirring. Simmer with meatballs for about 10 minutes
