1 un-baked pie crust
1 1/2 granullated sugar
3 tlbs all purpose sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground nutmeg
3 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 stick butter, melted and cooled
1 tlbs vanilla flavor

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 prepare the pastry for a 9-inch single crust pie, or you may use a purchased pie crust. set aside.
In a large bowl, combne the sugar, flour, salt, and nutmeg mix throughly. in another large bowl, beat the eggs, add the buttermilk, butter, and vanilla extract to the beaten eggs. gradually add the buttermilk mixture to the sugar mixture. blend well, pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, remove from the oven and cool completely before serving.
