Cut up 1 peck ripe tomatoes. Boil 1 hour and strain through a seive. To 1 gallon juice add; 1 tbsp. each of salt, black pepper and mustard; 2 tbsp. each of cinnamon, allspice, cloves; 1 tbsp. each of nutmeg and clerey seed. 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, 1 pint vinegar, 1 cup sugar. Boil until quite thick.
