7 lbs. pears
3 lbs. sugar
1 cup vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. allspice
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 lb. seedless raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Put pears and raisins through food chopper. Add spices, vinegar and sugar. Cook until good and done. Real thick. Makes 4 quarts.
Cook about 1 1/2 hours over low heat, use green or ripe pears.
