2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar (a slight bit more)
tsp. salt & ginger (each)
1 tsp. cinnamon
tsp. cloves
tsp. nutmeg
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk (not condensed)
1 9" unbaked pie shell

Mix the pumpkin and dry ingredients; then the evaporated milk; then the eggs. If you want a "pumpkin" colored pie mix in two drops of red food color. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes and then at 350.  for 45 minutes. You may want to foil wrap the crust edges to prevent over cooking of crust
