5 medium carrots cut on the diagonal in 3/4" pieces
tsp. salt
3 T. honey
Ground ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Put carrots and salt in saucepan with just enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and simmer approx. 20 minutes. Drain water off. Mix in honey and sprinkle of ginger. Transfer to serving bowl.

Cook the carrots as above; put into a casserole or other oven proof dish and drizzle honey and grated American cheese over the top and put under broiler just to melt cheese slightly.
