1 1/2 cups butter,
4 1/2 cups white sugar,
3 cups brown sugar,
9 eggs,
6 cups mashed ripe bananas,
1 1/2 cups buttermilk,
9 cups whole wheat pastry flour,
4 1/2 tsp. baing powder,
4 1/2 tsp. soda,
1 1/2 tsp. salt,
1 1/2 cups buttermilk,
9 cups whole wheat pastry flour,
4 1/2 cups chopped nuts,

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs at least 3 minutes.
Stir in bananas and 1 1/2 cups buttermilk.
Sift together and stir in 9 cups flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in 1 1/2 more cups buttermilk.
Stir in 9 more cups flour.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Divide dough into 12 greased bread pans.
Bake (in shifts if necessary) 1 hour or until dry cracks form in top of loaves and side and bottom crusts are brown.
Give as gifts, or freeze up to three months for later use.
