2 tlbs bacon drippings or margarine
1 cup oniond diced
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup green pepper chopped
1 pound ground beef
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
174 tsp thyme
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup tomato paste
2 cups tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
crown onions, celery and green pepper in margarine. add meat and fry until meat turns from red to brown. add remaining ingredients and cook on low heat for at least one hour. mix with boiled, salted spaghetti approximately 2/3 pound. serve topped with parmesan cheese.
