1 2 lb package of hash browns
1/2 cup chopped onion, or desired amount
1 pint sour cream
2 cups shredded cheese
1 can cream soup (celery, etc. )
1 stick of butter

Topping 1 - 1 1/2 cups of corn flakes
Enough butter to coat crumbs

Directions:

Put into a 9x13 baking dish
Top with buttered corn flakes

Bake 1 hour at 350 dgrees

I use 3 cups of cheese, and cream of chicken soup.

I will top with butter and crushed potato chips but only for the last 20 minutes of cooking
