4 Tbsp.buttter
4 large apples (peeled, sliced thin)
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
8 slices ( 1 inch) french toast
4 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large skillet, add appples. Cook for 5 min., add br. sugar water, cinnamon and cook till tender. Spoon mixture into 9 x 13 pan. Lay in bread slices over appples. beat eggs till foamy, add milk and vanilla. Refrigate over night or bake uncovered for 35 min. Let stand for 10min..Serve by flipping apples to top side. serve with syrup.
