4 large or 6 small lamb shanks
1 c. red burgundy wine
1 pkg Lipton onion soup
1/4 t. basil
oregano, rosemary and garlic to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Flour and brown lamb shanks and put in lidded roaster. Mix burgundy, onion soup and basil and pour over meat. Sprinkle oregano, rosemary and garlic to taste. Bake 350 degrees for 3 hours or 200 degrees for 8 hours.
