3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 beaten egg
1 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
2 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. cloves
1 t. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Roll dough in small balls and roll in white sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees 10-12 min.
