1 c. water
salt to taste
pepper to taste
4 Tbsp. fried meat grease

Directions:
Take head of cabbage and wash and cup up. Put in iron skillet. Add water, some salt and pepper and meat grease. Keep stirred. IF water cooks out before cabbage is tender, you can add a little more. Taste as you cook and add more seasoning if needed. Cook water out and enjoy.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You can substitute 1-2 beef bouillon cubes for the meat grease--a little healthier.
