one stick butter, can use unsalted
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon lecithin
1 tablespoon white Karo syrup
I cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
melt butter over medium heat, add sugar and lecithin cook stirring constantly with wooden spoon until sugar starts to melt and there is a brown syrup on bottom of pan,,, add syrup STIR and cook until mixture reaches 295 remove from heat add vanilla and nuts... spread over buttered shallow pan,,, let cool slightly score 1/2 inch size pieces, with a kitchen knife,, let cool... break into pieces,,, dip in dipping chocolate that has been melted over hot water,,, turn onto wax paper and let cool

stir sugar and butter constantly so sugar does not burn,,, use a flat edge wooden spoon. when sugar mixture is about half melted, stir in Karo syrup,, stir constantly as not to burn mixture... use candy themontior to cook to 295 degrees
