8 large apples
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Butter

Topping:
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. flour
Heaping Tbsp. shortening or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cut and dice apples. Fill half a loaf pan with apples. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar over apples. Also sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and a dab of butter around the top. Repeat as before to fill rest of pan.

Topping: Mix together and pack on top. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
