BLEND TOGETHER:
1 1/4 C. SUGAR
1/2 C. SHORTENING
2 EGGS
1/2 QT. BUTTERMILK

SIFT TOGETHER:
3 C. FLOUR (WHITE OR WHEAT)
1 1/2 TBSP. BAKING SODA
1 TBSP. BAKING POWDER
1 TBSP. SALT

SOAK TOGETHER:
1 C. BOILING WATER
1 C. NABISCO 100% BRAN
4 C. KELLOGG'S ALL BRAN
2 C. WATER

Directions:
ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO BUTTERMILK MIXTURE. MIX CEREAL WHEN SOFT INTO OTHER INGREDIENTS. POUR INTO MUFFIN TIN. BAKE AT 400 FOR 20 MINUTES.
