1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1/4 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
3/4 CUP SUGAR
1/4 CUP BUTTER
1 EGG
2/3 CUP MASHED BANANAS (ABOUT 2 MED BANANAS MASHED WITH A FORK.*
1/2 CUP BROKEN NUTS

STIR THESE INGREADIENTS INTO THE FLOUR *MIXTURE IN ABOUT 3 PARTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED ONLY. ALTERNATELY WITH THIRDS OF
3 TALBESPOON SOUR MILK OR BUTTERMILK
(SOUR MILK IS MADE BY USING 1 TABLESPOON VINEGAR OR LEMON JUICE TO ENOUGH MILK TO EQUIL ONE CUP.)

PLACE THE BATTER IN A GREASED 8X4 INCH LOAF PAN

BAKE 350 - ABOUT 1 HOUR
