1 large head cabbage (shredded)
2 carrots (shredded)
1 large (spanish) onion sliced
1/2 cup green pepper (optional)
Syrup- 2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tsp. tumeric powder
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tbsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix syrup and heat to boiling point, Cool before pouring over vegetables. Keep in refrigerator at least 24 hours before serving.
