1 C. water
1 C. sugar
12 oz. fresh cranberries
1/2 tsp. freshly grated orange zest

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water and sugar to a boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Add cranberries to simmer, stirring occasionally until berries just pop -- about 10-12 minutes. Stir in zest and cool.

May be made three days ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate.
