1 lb, sweet or hot sausage
2 tsp. salt
2 cups chopped celery
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
4 cups chopped zucchini
2 tsp. sugar (cut back on sugar)
3 cans stewed tomatoes
tsp basil(coarse)
tsp. garlic powder
1 cup chopped onions
2 chopped green peppers

Brown sausage, cool & cut into bite size pieces. Cook celery in fat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients, except green peppers. Cover, simmer 45 mins. Add green peppers, cover, cook another 20 mins. Makes 3 quarts. Serve with garlic bread and grated Parmesan cheese.
