Sift-1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream- 1/2 c. shortening (margarine)
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
Add- 1 unbeaten egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

1 Bag Silver bells

Use hands!!!!!
Beat egg, milk, vanilla, Mix in butter,sugar, brown sugar and peanut butter. Gradually mix in dry ingredients. Roll into balls, then roll each ball in white sugar. Bake at 325º on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes. Open oven place on each cookie 1 silver bell and bake another 2 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.
