1 C. finely packed brown sugar
5 T. flour
1 1/2 C. milk
3 egg yolks
2 T. butter
few grains of salt
9" baked pastry shell
meringue

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, brown sugar, and salt. Gradually add flour. Mix well; beat egg yolks, cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until thick. Add butter. Pour into baked pie shell. Swirl meringue on filling. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes.
