3 C Flour
1 C Shortening
4 eggs
2 C sugar
1/4 C orange juice
2 1/4 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
Mix. This is the batter.

1 can Comstock Apples. Drain very good.

In a seperate bowl:
1 C Sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon

Grease pan very good and dust with flour. Use tube pan for cake.

Start with a layer of batter (not too thin), then a thin layer of apples. Then sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Continue doing these layers until all ingredients are in. Make sure you finish with the cinnamon sugar on the top of the cake.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Then at 375 for 15 minutes.
