1/2 c. butter flavored shortening, 1 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 c. buttermilk, 3 Tbl. orange juice, 1 tsp. grated lemon peel, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1/2 c. white chocolate chips (melted and cooled) 2 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. soda, 1 c. dried cranberries

Microwave the white chocolate chips and set aside to cool. In mixing bowl cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each egg. Beat in buttermilk, orange juice, lemon peel, and vanilla. Stir in chops if cooled. If not wait until they are cool. Combine in flour, salt, and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture the cranberries. Pour into greased and floured bread pan. Bake at 350 for 55-60 min. Do the toothpick test ,if the pick comes out clean your bread is done.

May I suggest you make my walnut cranberry spread to top off your slice of bread. It's wonderful. You can even try this recipe with blueberries.
