1 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1 sm onion(finely chopped), 1 Tbl. chopped green pepper, 1/3 c. celery, 1 cup cooked rice, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1 egg, 1 can cr. of mushroom soup, 1 soup can of buttermilk, 1 2oz. can of mushroom stems and pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Put the beef, onion, pepper, celery, rice(cooked), salt, and egg in large bowl, mix well. Shape into 12 meatballs, place in 2 qt. casserole. Pour soup, buttermilk, and liquid from mushrooms in a bowl. Beat until smooth. Pour over meatballs along with mushrooms. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
