4 1/2 oz bottles of red food coloring
3 tblsp cocoa
Mix together and set aside

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tblsp vinegar
1 tsp soda

Directions:

Cream together butter and sugar

Add eggs and coloring paste, beat 10 minutes.

Add buttermilk and then slowly add flour, salt and vanilla.

Add by the hand the vinegar and soda, and mix in.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
