Directions:
Directions:
Cut off tops of green peppers, remove seeds, boil the peppers for 5 min. Just to remove the green taste. Take out of water and cool them off with cold water. Cook 1/2 cup rice. Combine the rice with the raw hamberger( about 1/3 rice to 2/3 berger), add chopped onions and season with salt and pepper.Mix well. Now fill the peppers with the hamberger mixture and place the tops of the peppers back on the pepper. Arrange the peppers standing upright in a baking pan( peppers shouldn't touch eachother) Add 1/2 -1 inch water in bottom of pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. If the tops of the peppers start to brown cover with lid or tin foil for remaining baking time.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Instead of water, I bake my peppers in a tomato sauce. I use 1 lg. can of stewed tomatoes and 1 small can of tomato paste. Adds alot of flavor.
