Use as much fruit as it takes to fill a 1 1/2 layer in bottom of cake pan.2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. flour, about 3/4 c. soft butter, oatmeal if desired, 1 tbl. cinnamon

Layer bottom of cake pan with fruit. Mix all the rest of the ingredients, until you have a crumbly substance. (My husband likes alot of the topping) Bake at 350 intil fruit is soft and crumbs are a golden brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream

My husband likes this with rhubarb, peaches,blueberries, or apples. You could even have 2 or 3 fruits combined. He has a terrible sweet tooth so all toppings for anything , are doubled.
